Prior to this the national flag of England had been the plain ancient Hebrew Red Cross on a white background, known as the "Cross of St. George". Any picture of the English fleet at the time of the Armada will show the ships sailing under this simple flag. When King James I came to England, he took with him the Blue-diagonal-cross of "St. Andrew" which was added to the original red cross of St. George in 1603 AD. At this time England still had no colonies. She had suffered for centuries under the religious domination of Rome, and she gained her release from this foreign yoke at the time of Elizabeth I (1558 AD). |

If one had procured a daily newspaper in Jerusalem at the end of 1917 AD, at the time of General Allenby's entry on 11th December, it would have been headed with the Mohammedan date of "1335". It is a most remarkable fact that, if General Allenby had had his way, and had been able to move his troops earlier in the year, at a time when success appeared more probable, he would have penetrated the land in the 1334th Mohammedan year, the latter being a lunar year, terminating at the end of September. But God delayed him until the prophetically foreordained 1335th year: Allenby then entered Jerusalem with ease, without one shot being fired upon the city! There was an Egyptian coin produced in 1917 AD showing the corresponding dates side by side: the Christian date of 1917 and the Mohammedan date of 1335 shown in Arabic numerals. Baghdad was captured by the British. The Russo-Turkish wars ended in the complete and final defeat of the Turks in 1917-18 AD. |

According to the prophet Ezekiel, the stone or pillar would be overturned three times until He (Jesus Christ) comes whose right it is to rule on that throne. The first overturning took place in about 582 BC when Jeremiah took Zedekiah's daughters to Ireland with the stone; the second overturning took place in 503 AD when the stone was moved to Scotland; the third overturning took place in 1296 AD when the stone was removed to England.
