Or, maybe the estimation of the time of the birth of Abram may need to be adjusted by about four years. This record of "the sun stood still" may have actually occurred during the year 1512-1511 BC when both the Saros and Metonic cycles occurred in the same year, and may be a very important biblical clue to "the process of time" throughout history as indicated by an astronomical sign. Such an adjustment as this could place the Exodus not in 1552 BC, but in 1556 BC.

** Comment - "A time" in the bible is 360 days or (on the day for a year principle of prophecy) 360 years. Exodus 1552 BC plus 360 years = 1192 BC. A time-check cross-reference is given in Judges 11.26 - "While Israel dwelt in Heshbon and her towns, and in Aroer and her towns, and in all the cities that be along the coasts of Arnon, three hundred years? why therefore did ye not recover them within that time?". Heshbon was one of the last stopping places before the Israelites crossed the Jordan and entered into the land of Canaan. The battle took place not long before the crossing. When the lands were settled by "lot" in 1486 BC under Joshua, this part of the land was given to Jacob's son Reuben. Another 300 years after the land settlement of 1486 BC, brings the timeline to 1186 BC. So the date of the Philistine/Amonite oppression at about 1194 BC to 1192 BC gives solidarity to this timeline to within eight years. This time is represented by The Holy Place, before the Vail of the Tabernacle. On the other side of the Vail which we are about to enter - The MOST HOLY Place - we see the people of the nation being led by Samuel and the Prophets, and the anointed Kings of Israel, to the Babylonian captivity, the Fall of Jerusalem, and on to the last recorded event in the Bible, 396 BC. On exiting the Most Holy Place and re-entering the Holy Place, there is no Bible history record of the period thereafter to the Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. But the prophetic length of the boards point to the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. ** See comment immediately below.
					1107 BC - Judge Eli's 40th year as judge in Israel. The Ark of the Covenant is stolen. Judge Eli, who is now an old man of 98 years, falls from his chair with shock, hurts himself severely, and dies. The Ark will be missing from Israel and the Tabernacle for 20 years and seven months (1 Sam 6.1 and 1 Sam 7.2).
					1102 BC - Year 1 of SAMUEL THE PROPHET in Israel. Time check cross-reference - Acts 13.20 says that Samuel the Prophet was "450 years after the Exodus". 1552 BC plus 450 years = 1102 BC. There is more trouble with the Philistines. The word of Samuel came to all Israel (1 Sam 4.1) and Samuel judged Israel at Mizpah. The Philistines are finally subdued till Saul's reign as the first king in Israel.

This is quite incredible, in that the period of the Judges would end, and the period of the Prophets and Kings begin, exactly at the architectural position of the Vail which divided The Holy Place from the MOST HOLY Place (which housed the Ark of the Covenant) within the Tabernacle.
